We spent a couple days at the local beaches and just had so much fun. The girls loved the seagulls and getting their feet wet and making mermaids and eating dripping ice cream cones and homemade chicken salad sandwiches. They brought countless buckets of water up to the blanket and made mud pies and colored and got cozy under the umbrella sometimes... although most of the time they were directly in the sun just lapping it up! They didn't get sunburned but just had a good time. Both girls slept all the way home. We washed them off, put them in nice dry clothes, gave them their little flannel blankets that were so soft, and they were OUT! The beach is the BEST!
