Giddiup

A little rest in the shade!

Maddie hitches a ride

Grandpa's shoulders are just right for Maddie as they walk through
Zion Nat'l Park... it was hot and she had the right idea..

Warner Clan

Hiking along the road from "road's end" in Zion back to the
lodge, we found this little staircase and went up to find
a perfect little stream ... Maddie knows the drill, pose like
a movie star!

Tubbie time

Mia played in the dirt and was filthy so we heated some water and she had a
little tubbie (Maddie did too) .... this dishpan has served us well in the past as a
first class bathtub for these little girls...

Boo Boo's... not

Maddie fell down and wanted a bandaid for a
little oweeee... so her daddy bandaged her arms
as if she had 3rd degree burns... and she was happy..
but then she decided to play nurse and she bandaged
Mia's legs (as if SHE had 3rd degree burns) and then
everybody was happy...

Monument Valley

We sat on a knoll for an entire afternoon just looking at the views.. it was kind of hot but well worth the inconvenient weather to see the sun set on these two beautiful monuments in Indian country...

Texas Roadhouse Girls

Newport Beach Girls

An overcase morning at Newport Beach... the seagulls were loving life
as we threw them our crusts from our sandwiches.... Maddie and Mia and Laura
digging for crabs. Does it get any better than this?

Newport Nest

We got to Newport early in the morning and were almost the only ones on the
beach for a while... the kids found this "nest" created by some previous beach-goer... they
worked and worked on the feathers, making a nest fort. I brought some store-purchased
shells and sprinkled them all over the area, and they were "finding" these shells and getting
excited.. Emily found the most... she was driven to find them all... and I think she did, at least
twice ... they decorated the "nest" with these shells... we left them on the beach so some lucky
kid will find these incredible shells and start thinking Newport has the BEST shells... ha...

Merry Warner Go Round

The Spectrum is a great place for kids... the water spouts and merry-go-round... all make for
lots of fun. I can't believe how big Mia and Maddie are getting... they're going to look like twins
in size before we know it! Fun times! xoxoox
