Big Sur Hike

We saw so many beautiful wildflowers on the 20 mile hike into Sykes Creek in Big Sur.
Hiking around and over redwoods was fun and not a rattlesnake in sight... thank goodness...

Shawn and Laura brought the kids down for Grandma and Grandpa's loving care while they went on their trip to Playa Del Carmen. Lots of fun. Maddie became a pro at watering with a watering can and Mia was so cute practicing her "standing alone" skills she had learned before coming. Yes, this is a picture of them in their car trunk.... why?... because they like it...
